Planned Start June 2027 Estimated Duration 10 weeks Meet the Team The Finance team at Millennium plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s operations by managing financial reporting, fund accounting, portfolio manager compensation, budgeting, and analysis, while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Interns will work on a range of cross-functional projects that provide insight into how Millennium supports its trading businesses and drives operational excellence. Opportunities may sit within one of the following teams: Financial Reporting & Accounting Policy: Focuses on the firm’s core financial control activities, including accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, tax, cash management, and finance projects. PM Compensation Reporting & Analysis: Focuses on managing portfolio manager compensation processes, including accruals, income statement reporting, contract review, and year-end payout calculations, ensuring accurate reporting and clear oversight of key compensation terms. What You’ll Do Prepare financial reports and dashboards for senior management, providing insights into financial performance and identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation processes by collaborating with teams across the firm. Reconcile financial data across departments to maintain consistency and integrity, while managing and analyzing large datasets to drive actionable insights. Partner with trading businesses, including Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, and Quantitative Strategies, and Core Infrastructure teams on strategic projects, ad hoc analyses, and firmwide initiatives. Contribute to team-wide projects with autonomy to innovate and develop new approaches to financial operations and business analysis. What You Bring Expected to graduate between December 2027 and July 2028. Cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or SQL is a plus. Interest in financial markets and a desire to learn about the operational side of a leading hedge fund. Familiarity with AI tools and technologies, with an interest in building and supporting AI-driven workflows. Availability to commit fully to the internship for the full program duration.
