What you will be working on
The AI Enablement Office (AEO) aims to enable and drive AI adoption across CPF Board. The Products Team, part of AEO, manages in-house digital products with a strong focus on technology adoption, data-driven decision-making, and a product mindset.
As part of this team, you will contribute to early-stage, exploratory work — helping to make sense of a problem space and figuring out, together, what should be built and why. This is not a role with a neatly scoped project waiting for you. If you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy questioning assumptions, and find the messy front-end of problem-solving energising rather than frustrating, this might be the right fit.
In this role, you will:
Collaborative 0-to-1 Product Exploration. Make sense of an emerging problem space, through user conversations, desk research, and honest reflection on what the actual pain points are.
Explore and pressure-test different approaches to addressing a problem, including asking whether technology (or AI) is the right solution at all.
Contribute to early ideation and prototyping, from mapping user journeys and scoping rough concepts to spinning up lightweight proofs-of-concept using low-code/no-code tools or AI-assisted (“vibe coding”).
Document business requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
Track progress and ensure alignment with product roadmaps.
Spearhead and support product marketing and adoption efforts by preparing promotional materials, conducting product demos, and showcasing features to potential users.
Gather user feedback from these outreach efforts and translate insights into product enhancements or feature proposals.
Leverage technical knowledge to explain product capabilities, limitations, and integration options in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
AI Performance & Sense-Making. Make sense of GenAI and agentic AI systems: are they good? are they solving the right problem? how do we even know?
Explore and support ways to evaluate AI performance for specific use cases.
Analyse patterns across AI outputs to surface recurring gaps or strengths, and translate these into practical recommendations.
Establish a shared language for talking about AI quality (e.g what does “good enough” mean for our use case?)
Stay curious about the evolving AI evaluation landscape (e.g. emerging benchmarks, evaluation frameworks, tooling) and bring relevant ideas back to the team, with healthy scepticism about hype.
What We Are Looking For
We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.
Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Degree in technology is not required but can be helpful.
Comfortable with ambiguity, and honest about it. You don’t need a fully defined brief to start making progress, but you also won’t pretend to have clarity you don’t have.
Curious about AI/LLMs. Interested in how they work, where they fall short, and how to think critically about their outputs and real-world usefulness.
Technically inclined/intrigued. Some experience or genuine interest in coding, low-code tools, APIs, or AI-assisted development. Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar is a bonus, not a requirement.
Analytical mindset with an interest in user research and testing. Able to frame simple experiments, make sense of information, and draw tentative (not overstated) conclusions. This includes designing surveys or feedback mechanisms, analysing user behaviour and adoption patterns, and providing actionable insights to improve digital products.
Inherently curious. You are thoughtful and comfortable to communicate your views openly. You take initiative, ask questions, and know when to pause and check in. Willing to challenge the ‘right’ answer for a given problem, and not just defaulting to the easy answer.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from
January 2027 to June 2027.
