Planned Start June 2027 Estimated Duration 10 weeks Meet the Team Our Operations and Middle Office teams are responsible for all aspects of trade processing and position maintenance, including trade confirmation, reconciliation with prime brokers, cash management, calculation of trading P&L, and marking of positions. Additionally, Operations serves as the primary contact for all prime brokerage relationships and business owners for the Firm’s books and record systems. As an Operations and Middle Office Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in trade confirmation, reconciliation, cash management, and position valuation. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate across teams, and contribute to the operational framework of a leading global hedge fund. What You’ll Do Confirm and reconcile trades with prime brokers and counterparties across asset classes, helping to ensure accuracy and timely settlement. Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies to support data integrity and efficient operational workflows. Monitor trading positions, including valuation, reporting, and updates related to corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, and mergers. Track and manage cash positions at banks, ensuring timely completion of wires and supporting cash flow monitoring for trade settlements. Collaborate with trading businesses and Core Infrastructure teams to support firm-wide initiatives and improve workflows. What You Bring Expected to graduate between December 2027 and July 2028. Cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and reconcile complex data. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Solid understanding of capital markets and asset classes, including equities, fixed income, commodities, and derivatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with VBA or Python is helpful but not required. Familiarity with AI tools and technologies, with an interest in building and supporting AI-driven workflows. Availability to commit fully to the internship for the full program duration.
