Our Summer Internship Program Our Summer Internship Program is an 8-week (June 14 – August 6, 2027) internship designed to provide you with an exciting, supportive and fun experience which mirrors life as an Analyst at BlackRock. You’ll have real-world responsibilities during the summer, in addition to participating in professional development, networking and social events. The Summer Internship Program acts as a feeder to the 2028 Full-Time Graduate Analyst Program. About Aladdin Data Aladdin Data is the enterprise data and analytics organization powering BlackRock and its Aladdin clients. The team is responsible for developing and operating platforms that produce, govern, and distribute investment-critical data across the firm. Our mission is to transform the data and analytics supply chain into a cloud-native, automated ecosystem that enables faster, easier, and more cost-effective access to high-quality data. We support portfolio management, risk analytics, regulatory reporting, and client servicing through platforms like the Aladdin Data Warehouse, Aladdin Studio, and the Enterprise Data Platform. Our work spans data governance, model validation, quality control, and entitlement - ensuring that data is secure, accurate, and actionable. As an Intern, you will Deliver high-quality client service eternally and internally, from addressing inquiries, performing data quality checks, resolving problems and mitigating risks for clients and internal BlackRock stakeholders. Investigate and resolve complex data issues and perform ad hoc analysis of large data sets while meeting tight deadlines Initiate and contribute to platform and process enhancements that improve data accuracy, reduce manual intervention, and support evolving business needs Gain exposure to investment data across Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Alternatives in a global context Ensure the accuracy of large analytical datasets, automate quality checks using scripts, and efficiently query data from enterprise platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Analytics Production, and Client Services to resolve data anomalies Contribute to a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning within a globally connected team What capabilities are we looking for? Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning about global financial markets and investment management Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Basic knowledge of SQL, UNIX, or Python, with a desire to expand technical expertise. Good understanding of fixed income, equity, and derivative instruments an advantage Ability to investigate data anomalies and contribute to scalable quality control solutions Interest in automation, AI-enabled data checks, and continuous process improvement Client-centric mindset with awareness of how data quality impacts investment decisions Application Instructions If this is something of your interest, apply now!
