    About the role This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving problems while working with financial data. You will have the opportunity to provide crucial support across various finance functions, ranging from invoice processing and bank reconciliations to assisting with month-end closing procedures. The Accounts Intern will gain exposure to senior leadership and collaborate closely with teams across Sales, Operations, Real Estate, Finance, and Corporate functions. As an Accounts Intern at Industrious, you will work closely with the Director of Accounting, APAC to support real-world financial operations and general ledger activities across our APAC portfolio. What you’ll do Hands-On Accounting Assist with daily accounting operations, accounting processes, and managing accounts payable/receivable records. Financial Data Management Input financial transactions, maintain accurate general ledger entries, and organize supporting documentation. Finance Team Support Assist during month-end and year-end closing processes, including performing basic bank reconciliations and gathering audit schedules. Collaborate for Excellence Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams across departments. Ad-Hoc Assignments Tackle various special projects and ad-hoc analytical requests from the finance team, ranging from expense/CAPEX report preparation to basic process improvements. Who you are Requirements: Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field. Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles (debits/credits, financial statements, double-entry bookkeeping). Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, basic formulas, data organization) and high attention to detail for managing confidential financial information. Familiarity with accounting software such as Coupa, Zuora, Xero, or NetSuite is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively across finance and non-finance teams. Proactive, highly self-motivated, and eager to tackle day-to-day tasks, take ownership, and handle ad-hoc requests without constant direction.
