About this internship
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive tender and baseline programs, manpower charts, resources charts, and equipment charts
Collaborate with the Project Team to formulate project start-up, key milestone target, & execution plans, which includes programming plans, program narratives, and program write-ups
Generate S-Curves, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and dashboards to effectively monitor project progress
Prepare scope appreciation presentation with key milestone target for project initialization
Track and ensure all design works schedules are in line with project master programme and provide constant updates on progress
Plan and consistently update target programs and micro programs on a monthly basis
Monitor construction program progress and produce monthly and weekly progress reports
Keep updated on the construction industry practices and standards and recommend ways to improve the planning and scheduling systems
Oversee the planning of architectural, structural & MEP works, site inspections, monitoring of work progress, ensure all works of the project and subcontractors are in compliance to the defined standards and drawings
Requirements:
Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore or Building and Construction Authority (BCA)
Good understanding of construction industry practices and standards to perform planning and scheduling
Experience in LTA programme preparation, programme requirements and submissions
At least 10 years’ experience in large scale projects with hands on experience doing planning and scheduling for civil and building projects
Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role
Proficient in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
Candidate with 4D BIM knowledge will have an added advantage
Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently to produce programmes, narrative and histograms
Meticulous, eye for details and a good team player
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
