Job Description
YOUR MISSION _________
Support retail and commercial teams through performance analysis, operational cadence, and on-the-ground retail exposure, translating data into actions to improve execution across doors/stores
Core Responsibilities
Performance Reporting & Business Insights
Prepare weekly/monthly performance summaries (sell-out, productivity, door performance) with commentary and action points
Track key retail KPIs and follow up on initiatives (e.g., staffing productivity, stock availability, promo execution-customize to your reality)
Present insights in weekly commercial/retail meetings; ensure actions are documented and closed
Commercial & Financial Support
Support expense tracking vs budget and last year; highlight variances and drivers
Assist with simple ROI/business case inputs for door investments/renovations (with guidance)
Market, Door & Portfolio Analysis
Support market research on trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity in travel retail beauty
Analyze performance across countries/doors (sales, margin/profitability, expense efficiency) and highlight opportunities/risks
Help define and track commercial KPIs and contribute to weekly commercial meeting materials (insights, recommendations, actions)
Management Reporting
Translate analysis into clear presentations for stakeholders (structured storylines, key takeaways, recommendations)
Deliverables / Success Measures
High-quality commercial performance packs with clear insights and actions
Variance analysis and scenario models that support decision-making
Market/competitive summaries with implications for strategy
Strong stakeholder-ready presentations and recommendations
Qualifications
Requirements
Able to commit to a 6-month full-time internship from Jun/Jul to Dec 2026
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field
Strong Excel (advanced functions, Pivot Tables, Power Query); PowerPoint; Power BI
Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, able to manage multiple workstreams
Comfortable working with commercial stakeholders; strong communication skills
Python/R is a bonus
