Established under the Energy Market Authority's initiative to centralise gas procurement, GasCo plays a vital role in safeguarding national energy security and supporting Singapore's economic continuity. We are looking for motivated interns to join our growing Operations division. Role Overview: The role will support the Business Planning, Risk, and Technology team in strategic planning, data analytics, and business intelligence initiatives within a dynamic corporate environment. This internship offers hands-on experience and exposure to the Operations division within GasCo. Role Responsibilities: Data Analytics & Dashboarding Assist in developing interactive and engaging dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Power Automate to enhance operational visibility Assist in cleaning, transforming, and analysing datasets to generate insights for business planning Support the development of automated reporting and monitoring tools for key operational metrics (e.g., KPI, data checks, etc.) Business Planning, Risk Analysis & Reporting Assist in preparing operational reports, analytical summaries, and performance trackers Support the maintenance and update of risk assessments for internal reporting Prepare presentation materials and maintain Excel models used for planning and analysis Project Management & Process Optimisation Assist in coordinating project activities, tracking milestones, and maintaining documentation Support communication and coordination with stakeholders across ETRM and data-related initiatives Participate in reviewing workflows and identifying opportunities to improve operational processes Technology & Data Engineering Support Support data preparation, validation, quality checks, and integration across internal datasets Assist in Azure- and Databricks-related tasks for data pipelines and storage workflows Help investigate and troubleshoot data issues while contributing to improvements in existing ETL processes Role Requirements: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline Analytical, diligent, and detail-oriented, with strong numerical skills Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis or visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python Basic understanding of data engineering concepts or cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks, Azure) is an advantage Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Proactive attitude with the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment Available for a full-time (5-days/week) internship commitment Able to commit from January to June 2027
