About the Role
Join a marine infrastructure specialist scaling fast across Asia, spearheading subsea fiber optic and power cable installation, maintenance, and shore-end HDD projects. As Business Development Manager, you will shape market entry strategy, forge strategic alliances, and grow influential relationships with utilities, offshore wind developers, and energy operators. Working alongside Engineering and Solutions teams, you will turn technical strength into commercial wins, cementing the organisation's reputation as Asia's trusted marine contractor of choice.

Monthly Salary Range (SGD)
$8,500 - 10,000
Responsibilities
Pursue new commercial opportunities in subsea power cable installation and maintenance, as well as shore-end HDD solutions, across the region
Evaluate and prioritise prospective tenders and projects to shape a strong opportunity pipeline
Broker consortiums, joint ventures, and strategic alliances to widen regional maintenance zone coverage
Structure and finalise partnership agreements with marine, telecom, and energy stakeholders
Craft a comprehensive business development strategy tailored to the Asia region
Chart account plans and revenue targets to support sustained commercial growth
Nurture senior level relationships with utilities, offshore wind developers, government bodies, telecom consortiums, and oil and gas operators
Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for key regional accounts
Track regulatory developments, competitor movements, and industry trends across target markets
Market the organisation as a preferred marine contractor by turning market intelligence into commercial action
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marine Science, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is advantageous
At least 5 years of experience in business development or commercial management within marine contracting, submarine cable, offshore energy, or heavy marine infrastructure
Solid grasp of subsea cable operations, vessel capabilities, shore-end HDD, and the commercial frameworks behind regional maintenance agreements, combined with the technical fluency to translate engineering capability into commercial value
Demonstrated success closing deals across the Asia-Pacific region, supported by an established network of industry contacts
Strong negotiation capability for complex, high value maritime or energy service agreements, and flexibility to travel regionally to meet clients and partners
