    About this internship

    Overview We are a National University of Singapore-affiliated startup building a platform for robotics research and deployment. We are looking for a motivated and proactive Marketing & Business Development Intern to join our team to support our F&B brands. You will gain hands-on experience in business development, offline and online marketing and have the opportunity to make a deep impact on the company. You will work closely with the team to identify new business opportunities, engage potential clients, and support the company’s growth. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with a high level of independence and flexibility. Responsibilities Analyse competitive landscape and provide recommendations Customer relations Setup and maintain CRM platform Build database of potential customers, categorised by needs, budget etc. Reach out to potential customers to understand their needs (through online platforms, events etc.) and track outreach efforts Design experiments to identify features desired by customers Follow up with early adopters Source partnership opportunities Create and maintain marketing materials (videos, blogs, pitch deck, social media etc. as required) Assist in crafting value proposition framing Identify new use cases for existing technological direction, and new business opportunities Hire and onboard teleoperators Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders. Ability to conduct structured market research, analyze data, and synthesize insights to support business and marketing decisions. Interest or experience in sales, lead generation, and nurturing customer relationships to support business development efforts. Foundational understanding of marketing strategy and an interest in applying it to early-stage startup and robotics contexts. Customer-focused mindset with basic customer service skills and a willingness to listen, learn, and respond to feedback. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment with a proactive and self-directed approach. Ability to do front end web development is preferred Interest in robotics, deep tech, or B2B technology solutions; prior internship or project experience in these areas is a plus. Available to attend client calls during North American business hours
