About Tong Tar Transport Service Tong Tar Transport Service Pte Ltd is an established Singapore transport operator providing employee, school, shuttle, charter and public bus services. As the transport industry evolves, we are increasingly using technology, data, automation and new operating models to improve how we work and how our customers experience our services. We are looking for a Business Transformation Intern who is interested in understanding real business problems and helping us turn ideas into practical improvements. Role Description This is a paid internship where you will work on actual business transformation projects across different parts of the company. You will work closely with management and operational teams to understand existing processes, identify problems and opportunities, research possible solutions, and support the implementation of new processes, systems and technologies. The role is suitable for someone who enjoys solving problems and wants exposure to the intersection of business, operations and technology. Key Responsibilities Study existing business and operational processes and identify areas that can be simplified, automated or improved. Map workflows and document business requirements for process and system improvements. Analyse operational and business data using tools such as Excel and other data analysis platforms to identify patterns and opportunities. Explore how digital tools, automation and AI can be applied to real business problems. Conduct research and evaluate technology solutions, vendors and industry practices relevant to transformation projects. Support the development and testing of new digital solutions, including prototypes, internal tools and process automation. Participate in pilot projects and gather feedback from users to determine whether solutions work effectively in actual operations. Prepare clear presentations, reports and recommendations for management based on research and analysis. Work with different teams including Operations, Finance, Administration, Digital and IT on transformation initiatives. Qualifications We welcome students currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in areas such as: Business or Business Management Information Systems or Information Technology Business Analytics or Data Analytics Engineering Operations or Supply Chain Management Digital Transformation Other related disciplines You should: Be curious about how businesses operate and how things can be improved. Be comfortable analysing problems and breaking them down into practical steps. Have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Be able to communicate ideas clearly in both written and spoken English. Be comfortable working with people from different functions and levels within the organisation. Be willing to learn new digital and AI tools. Be able to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance. Experience with Power BI, Power Platform, AI tools, process mapping, data analysis, programming or prototyping will be useful, but is not required. You do not need to be a programmer for this role. We are more interested in your ability to understand a problem, think logically and find practical ways to improve it.
