Job Purpose
Help business make critical decisions by collecting, tracking and correcting the company’s finances under Commodity and Financial Services(CFS) Finance team.
Commodity and Financial Services (CFS) at Cofco International and FX business is highly technical and challenging, requires someone who is willing to make serious commitment to the job, understand the business,and be flexible enough to work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
Fast paced and numerous priorities create an environment where frequent problem solving is necessary.
Key Responsibitlites
Process day to day accounting activities for CFS business including but not limited to:
General Ledger (GL), account payable and receivables, cash & bank related functions
Prepare monthly journal entries for account closings
Assist with tax and auditing matters as needed
Maintain proper internal controls and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
Manage the timely processing and payment of all financial obligations
Undertake any additional tasks as assigned
Education & Qualifications
Students pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline are welcome to apply
Experience
Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
Skills
Strong analytical skill and high attention to detail
Self-motivated with strong interest in learning
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Ability to work under deadlines and manage ad-hoc tasks as required
Able to work independently and proactively to resolve problems within established parameters
Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with internal teams
