Communications Intern

We’re looking for a driven and curious Communications Intern to support the SJ Group Communications team. This role is ideal for someone with strong writing skills and an interest in storytelling, branding, and the built environment. You’ll help shape how we share our stories—internally and externally—and gain hands-on experience supporting campaigns, events, and content production. Job Description What You’ll Do • Draft and edit internal communications (emails, intranet articles, newsletters) and external content (LinkedIn posts, press blurbs, marketing copy) • Assist in developing stories that spotlight our people, projects, and purpose • Support logistics and content planning for events and campaigns • Help with multimedia production (video shoots, photo selections, basic edits, transcripts) • Monitor and compile content performance or engagement metrics • Participate in team brainstorms and help bring fresh ideas to life • Provide general support across communication tasks as needed What We’re Looking For • Strong writing and communication skills • An eye for detail and a nose for a good story • Able to manage timelines and juggle multiple tasks • Interest in corporate storytelling, branding, or the built environment • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with Canva, basic video editing, or social media platforms is a plus • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn What You’ll Gain • Real-world experience in internal and external communications at a global consultancy • Exposure to brand storytelling, campaign planning, and event communications • Opportunities to work across teams and geographies • Mentorship and portfolio-building experience
