Role Description The Community & Events Associate (Intern) is a part-time role based in Singapore with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site activities with some work-from-home flexibility. This role involves supporting the planning and execution of community initiatives, client engagement programs, and internal team events. The intern will assist with event logistics, coordinating registrations, preparing materials, and providing on-site support during events and workshops. Day-to-day tasks include handling community outreach communications, responding to basic client or participant queries, assisting with follow-ups, and maintaining event and contact databases. The role also includes supporting the sales and advisory teams with simple administrative tasks related to events, and contributing ideas to enhance community engagement. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage community members, clients, and internal teams professionally. Candidates should possess Event Planning and Event Management skills to help organize, coordinate, and support in-person and virtual events. Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to assist with event-based lead nurturing, follow-ups, and basic promotional activities. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple tasks. Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., office productivity software, social media, event platforms) and willingness to learn new systems. Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Interest in financial services, community engagement, or events management; prior internship or project experience in these areas is an advantage. Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in business, communications, marketing, events management, or a related field is preferred.
