Community & Partnerships Intern (6 Months)
Huggs Coffee
Singapore, SingaporeInternship16 Oct 2026
About this internship
Huggs is a homegrown specialty cafe chain and roastery, with a community we’re proud of. We roast our beans in-house, get to know the people who grow them, and love the conversations that happen over a good cup. We’re now looking for an intern to help us look after that community, grow it through partnerships, and share the Huggs story with the wider world through PR and influencer collaborations.
We’re looking for a warm, curious, people-first intern to help us grow the Huggs community, in our cafés and online. You’ll work closely with our brand team on community engagement, partnerships and PR, and play a hands-on part in ‘The Huggs Brew’ Club, our community series where people pour, brew, taste and talk together. It’s a role for someone who enjoys bringing people together and wants to turn that energy into real brand work.
Your Responsibilities
Community management and engagement
Engage with our community across Instagram, TikTok and other channels, replying, starting conversations and spotting stories worth sharing
Support planning and content creation that reflects the warmth and personality of Huggs
Keep track of community feedback and trends, and share what you learn with the team
Strategic partnerships and collaborations
Research and approach brands, creators and organisations that share our values
Help develop and coordinate collaborations, from co-hosted events to product partnerships
Maintain partner relationships and keep follow-ups on track
The Huggs Brew Club community series
Support planning and logistics for workshops and roastery sessions
Help with guest invitations, RSVPs and on-the-day hosting, welcoming members and keeping the atmosphere warm
Capture photos, video and stories, and follow up with attendees afterwards to keep the community connected
PR and influencer engagement
Build and maintain media and influencer lists
Help draft pitches, press notes and invitations
Coordinate influencer visits and gifting, and track coverage and results
What we’re looking for
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident only
Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, Business or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Relevant experience through internships, CCAs, student clubs, events or content creation
Warm, approachable and comfortable hosting a room of strangers
Creative, with an eye for social-first content and a good sense of what’s trending
Strong written and spoken English, organised, and a self-starter
Comfortable with Canva or basic editing tools (a plus)
Genuinely curious about coffee, community and good conversation
Available for 6 months, with occasional evening and weekend events
What you’ll gain
Real ownership of projects, not coffee runs
Mentorship from our brand team, with a behind-the-scenes look at a roastery that sources ethically and a community with real heart
A portfolio of campaigns, events and partnerships to take with you
Monthly allowance:
S$1,300 to S$1,500 per month, based on experience
