    About this internship

HTHT (by Friendzone) — Content & Marketing Intern Do you believe that relationships are one of the most important parts of life — and yet one of the least taught? Most of us spend years building careers, studying for exams, working on our health. Almost none of that time goes toward learning how to date well, communicate through conflict, choose a partner with intention, or sustain a relationship over the long run. At HTHT (heart-to-heart talks), we think that's a problem worth fixing. Relationships are a skill. Skills can be learned. And a community built around that idea — with science, conversation, and genuine peer support at its core — can change how people approach the most personal parts of their lives. We're building that community in Singapore. And we're looking for a Marketing & Content Intern to help launch it. What you'll be working on HTHT is entering a new chapter. We're relaunching with fresh programming, a new brand direction, and an events calendar that's just getting started — which means the work you do here will shape how thousands of people first encounter us. You'll work directly with the marketing team on content strategy, brand voice, and campaign execution across our launch period. Specific responsibilities could include: Featuring stories from people further along the relationship journey — newly partnered, long-term couples, individuals who've done the work — as aspirational, real-world proof of what intentional dating can build Short-form content creation across Instagram and TikTok — video, carousel, caption Translating complex ideas (dating skills, communication skills, partner selection, emotional intelligence) into content that's engaging, grounded, and shareable Event marketing and live coverage — we will be running singles mixers and expert talks; you'll help fill the room and document what happens inside it Community storytelling — capturing member experiences, session highlights, and case studies that show what HTHT is actually doing for people Campaign development tied to course and event launches Platform growth and engagement tracking Supporting partnership and collaboration marketing with external brands The content topics you'll work across include: modern dating culture, communication and conflict, attachment styles, boundaries, partner selection, and building healthy long-term relationships. If those topics already occupy space in your head — if you think about them, read about them, talk about them with friends — this role will feel like a natural extension of that. What you'll learn How to build a brand's content presence from scratch, not inherit a playbook How to translate research and psychology into formats that actually reach people How to execute campaigns tied to real business outcomes (event sign-ups, course enrolment, community growth) How to develop and work inside a distinctive brand voice How to cover live events and turn what happens in the room into content worth watching What makes this internship different You're joining at a defining moment. The content you make in months one and two will be part of HTHT's next chapter. Real ownership. You'll pitch ideas, run with them, and see what works — not execute briefs handed down from above. Portfolio outcomes that are legible. A brand relaunch, a content series, a mixer campaign — concrete work you can point to. The mission is the work. You won't be marketing a product that happens to be meaningful; the content is the relationship education. Every post, every caption, every event reel is part of what our brand is trying to do. Direct mentorship from the team. You'll understand the substance behind the content, not just the formats. Internship details Start: July 2026 onwards Format: Hybrid Commitment: Full-time or part-time In-person requirement (full-time): 1–2 weekdays per week + attendance at events (monthly singles mixers and expert talks, typically weekday evenings or weekends) — pro-rated for part-time Remuneration: $1,000/month for university students; $800/month for pre-university students (pro-rated for part-time) Who we're looking for Students studying Marketing, Communications, Media, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field. More than the discipline: someone who's genuinely interested in relationships, human connection, and the psychology behind how people date and partner. Someone who wants to make content that matters :) If that's youm tell us which areas of the role excite you most, what you hope to learn, and why HTHT's mission resonates with you. Send your CV and cover letter to hello@friendzone.sg or apply via our LinkedIn listing.
