Job Description
Assist across a wide range of internal and external communication tasks. This includes content development, writing, participating in campaign conceptualization, and being involved in internal company events.
Internal communications
Compilation of monthly newsletter
Contribute to intranet articles
Participating in organizing internal employee events
Assist with managing internal events (i.e. quarterly townhalls, leadership conferences).
External communications
Assisting with any external campaigns, social media content (i.e. LinkedIn),
Developing campaign materials
Support on media relations (as needed).
Main Learning Objectives
Develop an understanding of Corporate Affairs in a global healthcare company by supporting communications and stakeholder engagement activities across Animal Health and Human Pharma, while building business acumen, communication skills, and an understanding of how Corporate Affairs contributes to reputation, trust, and sustainable business success.
Develop knowledge of the healthcare and animal health industries, including key business priorities, market dynamics, and societal issues, that shape business impact and direction.
Hone skills across areas such as content development, writing, strategic messaging, stakeholder engagement, and project and event management for both internal and external audiences, while ensuring messages and content align with business priorities and company values
Exposure to work with colleagues from other teams across regional projects and initiatives to further enrich learning and internship experience.
Pre-requisite
Ability to commit from Jan – May/Jun. Part-time applicants must be able to work for a minimum of 3 weekdays per week. International students not intending to take this as a credit-bearing module/internship
need not
apply as you will not be able to meet the required time commitment.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for drafting content, preparing presentations, and organizing data
Familiarity with simple design or visual‑editing tools (e.g. Canva, PowerPoint design features, or similar platforms) is preferred
Willingness and ability to learn new software and digital tools
Willingness to learn and a good working attitude
Flexible and adaptable to change/s
Good writing and project management skills
Previous leadership or writing experience in school or student varsity activities is preferred.
