Responsibilities
:
Develop and implement the company-wide BIM strategy, standards, governance framework, and digital delivery roadmap to support business objectives and enhance project delivery performance.
Act as the corporate BIM authority and strategic point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, project teams, and internal stakeholders across multiple projects.
Establish, implement, and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), BIM workflows, processes, and information management standards to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project deliverables.
Lead BIM implementation, governance, and digital delivery strategies across large-scale multidisciplinary building, infrastructure, and industrial projects in Singapore and overseas.
Establish BIM quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) frameworks to ensure BIM models, data, documentation, and deliverables meet company standards, client requirements, and regulatory expectations.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to BIM Managers, BIM Coordinators, BIM Modelers, engineers, and project teams to achieve consistent and high-quality BIM outcomes.
Develop and maintain corporate BIM standards, modelling guidelines, templates, libraries, workflows, naming conventions, and documentation procedures.
Oversee multidisciplinary BIM coordination, including design reviews, model validation, clash detection, issue resolution, and coordination management.
Support project teams in producing coordinated shop drawings, construction documentation, and digital deliverables using BIM technologies.
Ensure BIM processes comply with Singapore BIM regulations, BCA requirements, authority submission standards, and industry best practices.
Drive BIM adoption, digital transformation, automation, and innovation initiatives to improve productivity, collaboration, and project delivery efficiency.
Evaluate and implement new BIM technologies, software platforms, and digital solutions to strengthen organizational BIM capabilities.
Develop and deliver BIM training programs for BIM professionals, engineers, project managers, and department leaders to enhance BIM competency and software utilization.
Conduct BIM audits, performance assessments, and continuous improvement programs to improve corporate BIM maturity.
Provide strategic BIM support and oversight for overseas projects, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and project objectives.
Qualifications
:
Degree or professional certification in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in BIM implementation, coordination, management, and digital delivery for building, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a BIM leadership or management role, overseeing BIM teams, standards, workflows, and project execution.
Proven track record managing BIM implementation for large-scale, multidisciplinary building and infrastructure projects in Singapore and overseas.
Strong knowledge of Singapore BIM regulations, BCA requirements, BIM submission guidelines, and relevant industry standards.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and other BIM authoring, coordination, and collaboration platforms.
Experience with Bentley BIM platforms, including AECOsim, OpenBuildings, OpenRoads, and OpenPlant, with knowledge of 6D BIM modelling and information management.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, engineering workflows, contract requirements, and project delivery processes.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership capability with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and driving BIM transformation initiatives.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects, provide strategic direction, and deliver BIM solutions aligned with corporate goals.
