    About this internship

KPay Group (KPay) is a leading fintech company dedicated to empowering businesses of all sizes with simple, smart, seamless and secure technology solutions. Serving over 81,000 merchants across Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Australia, KPay is unleashing merchants' growth potential by building a one-stop platform for financial management, business operations and digital transformation. KPay secures a record USD55 million in 2024, marking the largest series A fundraise globally in the payments sector of the year. Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Partnership Intern to support the growth of KPay’s Corporate Secretary Partnership Network. The intern will focus on identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with corporate secretarial firms, with the goal of establishing a two-way referral ecosystem — where these firms can refer newly incorporated companies to KPay for payment solutions, and KPay can refer its merchant clients who need incorporation and compliance services. This internship offers hands-on experience in partnership development, lead generation, and B2B relationship management in Singapore’s fintech and professional services landscape. Key Responsibilities: 1) Partner Prospecting & Research • Identify and map out potential corporate secretary firms and company incorporation service providers in Singapore. • Research partner profiles, service offerings, and client segments to assess potential collaboration fit. 2) Partnership Outreach & Engagement • Initiate contact with potential partners through email, LinkedIn, and calls to introduce KPay and partnership opportunities. • Support partnership meetings, take notes, and follow up on agreed next steps. • Assist in preparing presentation decks, proposal templates, and MoUs for potential partners. 3) Program Development & Coordination • Help design and manage the referral workflow between KPay and corporate secretary partners. • Track partnership performance and maintain an up-to-date partner database using internal tools (CRM, Lark, Google Sheets, etc.). • Support co-marketing initiatives, such as partner spotlights, joint webinars, or SME education campaigns. 3) Cross-Department Collaboration • Coordinate with merchant acquisition, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth partner referrals and onboarding. • Provide feedback to improve partnership processes and marketing collateral. Requirements: • Strong interest in business partnerships, B2B sales, or the fintech and SME ecosystem. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with outreach and networking. • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with good follow-up discipline. • Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; CRM or LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience is a plus. What You’ll Learn: • How fintech companies build strategic partner ecosystems. • How to identify and qualify B2B partnership opportunities. • Practical skills in outreach, stakeholder communication, and business relationship management. • Exposure to Singapore’s corporate services landscape and SME financing environment.
