Credit Risk Advisory Intern
Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027
Job Description
Help set up and support the proactive portfolio management of the Global Corporate and Investment Banking business across APAC
Identify and design appropriate strategies for managing current and potential stressed and distressed clients
Assist with preparation of presentation materials relating to credit risk training and lessons learned sessions to support risk awareness in the relevant teams, and other committee meeting materials as necessary
Support the setup of a Management Information framework to ensure Management is kept apprised of asset quality across the portfolio
Support the monthly credit cost forecast process and annual credit cost budgeting process, including liaison between the First and Second Lines of Defence.
Provide analytical and administrative support to the BRMD-CRA Team
Organise regional meetings across coverage departments and credit divisions
Job Requirements
Basic understanding of credit risk management
Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and credit documentation (eg. loan and security agreements)
Keen eye for detail and intermediate proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint & Excel).
Self-starter, able to prioritise, people and result oriented.
Strong written and spoken English proficiency is needed.
Language proficiency in any other Asian languages will be useful as the role requires coordination with regional partners.
Willing and able to multi-task and deliver work under demanding timelines and in a fast moving environment.
Good initiative, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently in a team and independently
