Location: Kallang Launch your career with a hands-on internship in industrial operations and supply chain management. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics & Excel Intern to support data collection, analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation. This internship offers hands-on experience in working with large datasets, developing reports, and generating insights that support business decisions. What will you do: Collect, organize, validate, and maintain data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Create and maintain Excel dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools to support business performance monitoring and decision-making. Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports, providing actionable insights through data analysis, visualization, and presentations. Support the automation and optimization of recurring reports using advanced Excel functions and data management techniques to improve efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and ensure compliance with data governance and confidentiality standards. What qualifications will make you successful: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF/COUNTIF/SUMIF functions, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, and data visualization through charts and graphs. Good understanding of data analysis, data cleaning, reporting techniques, and the ability to interpret and present insights from complex datasets; familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or Tableau is an advantage. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to identify trends, ensure data accuracy, and support business decision-making. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and business requirements.
