We're thrilled to announce the opening for data privacy Intern in our Moët Hennessy Singapore office. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to gain valuable insights into our industry and business operations, applying your academic knowledge and developing new skills to assist our Global Data Privacy Officer (DPO) in the APAC region, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving field of data privacy and protection. The intern will support the implementation and maintenance of our data protection program, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. We are looking for a 6-month intern who can commit to a part-time schedule, starting October 2026. Job Responsibilities How you will contribute… Assist the Global DPO in APAC to monitor compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to GDPR, and the privacy regulations within the APAC jurisdictions. Support the implementation and monitoring of the company’s data protection & governance framework and programs, including privacy policies, data breach management procedures, ROPA (Records of Processing Activities), and internal training programs for employees. Administrate the PIA (Privacy Impact Assessments) review process for regulatory compliance, including tracking progress, gathering documentation, and assisting with risk assessments. Organize routine training sessions for specific business groups and/or new joiners on data protection laws, regulations, guidelines, and data processing contractual and consent obligation requirements. This may include preparation of the training materials and tracking trainees attendance. Handle customer data privacy related inquires and requests, working with various internal teams on opt out, data access, correction, and deletion requests. Conduct research on emerging data privacy laws and regulations and provide summaries to the Global DPO. Assist with the annual review of the data privacy and protection internal control processes. Support privacy committee duties, including preparing meeting agendas and minutes. Join us if you… Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor or Master Degree in Law, Political Science, or a related discipline. Strong interest in data privacy and protection. Familiarity with data privacy principles and regulations in Korea and Malaysia) is a plus. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experiences with the use of data privacy compliance modules on OneTrust is a plus.
