Job Description
Shopee's Data Product Management team is looking for data talents to design, build, and enhance data marts and data products in our e-commerce ecosystem. Both Data Marts and Data Products play a key role in facilitating and maximising the effectiveness of data to provide our users better experience with Shopee.
Responsibilities
Own and drive product roadmap of various data marts / data products supporting internal / external data users
Manage and work closely with various stakeholders to drive and implement product enhancements to fulfill user and business requirements
Prioritize users’ requests and deliver high-quality Product Requirements Document (PRD) with a clear goal, scope, user scenarios, analytics framework, and data logic to meet users’ needs
Collaborate with other product teams, engineer teams and project manager to drive feature release while ensuring quality, speed, and sustainability
Promote and drive usage of data marts / data products across regional and local data users through initiatives such as conducting sharing and training sessions, creating and maintaining user guides
Be the data domain expert for your portfolio
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Master/Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science and Mathematics or a related science/tech field preferred
Self-starter mentality with ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and agile working environment
Effectively communicate complex business/technical information with different audiences verbally or in writing
Good critical thinking, data-based decision-making skills, adaptable, open-minded, and quick learner
Basic knowledge of SQL
Full-time interns preferred, part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply
