Data Warehouse Intern

About The Role We are looking for a motivated Data Warehouse Intern to join our team. You will have the opportunity to participate in the design, development, and maintenance of real-time data warehouse systems, work with big data technologies such as Flink, Spark Streaming, and Kafka, and gain hands-on experience in real-time data processing, data modeling, and data pipeline optimization. Key Responsibilities Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of real-time data warehouse systems. Develop real-time data processing jobs using Flink / Spark Streaming. Assist in designing real-time data models and building layered data warehouse architectures, including ODS, DWD, and DWS. Integrate real-time data sources such as Kafka and MySQL Binlog. Assist in optimizing real-time processing performance to ensure data timeliness, accuracy, and reliability. Prepare technical documentation and support data quality monitoring. Requirements Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Proficient in SQL, with hands-on experience in data processing. Familiar with fundamental data warehouse concepts, including dimensional modeling and layered architecture. Proficient in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or Scala. Available for at least 4 days per week, with a minimum internship commitment of 3 months. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with Flink or Spark Streaming. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Kafka, Doris, ClickHouse, Hudi, or Iceberg. Understanding of MySQL Binlog and Change Data Capture (CDC) data synchronization. Previous internship or project experience in data warehousing or big data engineering.
