EHS Intern

Job Description Summary We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) intern (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Environmental/Sustainability focus) to support the planning and execution of site- wide EHS initiatives and programmes. This role offers hands- on experience in environmental, health and safety projects. It is ideal for mechanical, electrical, or sustainability students with a strong dedication in promoting interest in workplace Environmental, Health and Safety. Job Description Role Overview: Key Responsibilities Include Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections across various departments. Help develop and implement safety training programs for employees. Support the preparation of safety and environmental reports and documentation. Participate in incident investigations and risk assessments. Collaborate with team members to identify safety hazards and recommend improvements. Maintain safety and environmental records in compliance with regulations. Assist in organizing safety and environmental meetings and workshops. Ideal Candidate Mechanical or electrical engineering student (or recent graduate) who is passionate about promoting and eager to apply technical knowledge to real- world Environmental, Health and Safety challenges in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications Strong interest in workplace safety and environmental regulations. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
