Internships will start in January 2027. Students who can commit full-time will be preferred. Join us as a Electromechanical Design Innovation Intern to make an impact! Location: Kallang Kickstart your career with a role that offers real responsibility and real learning. You will join the electromechanical design team where we design relays and signalling products for industrial usage. This role will mainly support our design team on innovation explorations on relays’ technology. What will you do: Work on innovation concepts related to relay technologies and applications. Design and develop prototypes based on identified concepts and business requirements. Refine and optimize concepts through testing and validation to deliver feasible and functional prototypes. Collect, analyze, and present project data in accordance with Schneider Electric's innovation processes, methodologies, and tools. What qualifications will make you successful: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design or a related field. Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks and/or Creo, with knowledge of mechanical design principles. Experience with 3D printing technologies and plastic part design. Understanding of cross-disciplinary concepts involving electronics and electrical engineering. Familiarity with simulation and analytical tools such as Ansys and/or Python. Knowledge of planar coils, compliant mechanisms, and electrostatic systems is an added advantage.
