You'll get hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, financial reporting, payables/receivables, and compliance in a fast-growing deep-tech start-up, reporting to the Finance Manager. Your Job Scope Assist with data entry into accounting systems and maintain complete, audit-ready records. Support reconciliations and preparation of basic balance sheet schedules under guidance. Help prepare monthly management reports and support schedules. Assist in organizing documentation for audits and year-end financial reporting. Support the invoicing process and help monitor collections and AR visibility. Assist with payables: payment preparation, supporting documentation checks, and payment tracking. Support employee claims processing in line with company policy. Help track and document grant reimbursement submissions. Assist in tracking budget vs actuals and compiling information for management review. Support department cost monitoring reporting with exposure to tools like Microsoft Power BI. Help ensure documentation adheres to financial policies and Singapore statutory requirements. Support the Finance Manager in maintaining practical controls across close, payables, and invoicing. Desired Qualities Pursuing or recently graduated from diploma/degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field. Basic understanding of accounting principles. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with accounting software is a plus. Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
