    About this internship

    1. Banking & Treasury Support Assist with corporate banking activities, including account opening, account maintenance, document submission, and collection of banking documents. Liaise with banking partners on account-related matters and follow up on compliance requirements, documentation, and information updates. Support daily treasury operations, including bank statement reconciliation, cash position monitoring, and preparation of cash flow reports. 2. Accounting & Finance Operations Assist with general ledger data entry, journal preparation, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoice verification and reconciliation. Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing supporting schedules and reconciliation reports. Assist in preparing financial reports and management reports as required. 3. Financial Documentation & Administration Organise, maintain, and archive financial documents, including invoices, payment vouchers, bank advice, contracts, and supporting documents. Maintain vendor and customer master data to ensure information is accurate and up to date. Ensure proper filing and documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements. 4. Audit, Compliance & Process Improvement Assist in preparing documentation for external audits, GST submissions, and regulatory compliance. Support the Finance team in identifying opportunities to improve finance processes, documentation, and operational efficiency. Perform other ad-hoc finance and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager. Requirement Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Business, or a related discipline Basic understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial statements Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas and data analysis) Detail-oriented, responsible, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Comfortable performing occasional fieldwork, including visits to banks and government agencies when required
