Finance Intern (Financial Planning & Analysis)

About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This is for university students looking to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis within a dynamic business environment. The role will also involve working closely with financial data, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reports and systems. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses Perform data reconciliation across multiple systems and reports to ensure consistency and accuracy Validate and check financial data for completeness, identifying discrepancies and following up on variances Assist in maintaining clean and reliable datasets for reporting and analysis Analyze financial performance against budgets and provide insights on key trends and drivers Help maintain and improve financial models and reporting tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial and operational data Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Good understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles Strong attention to detail, especially when handling large datasets Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team
