    About this internship

Inclus Pte. Ltd. is looking for a thoughtful, organised, and proactive university intern to work directly with the Founder on an upcoming social-impact initiative. The initiative is currently in its pre-launch phase; accordingly, the successful candidate will contribute to early-stage research, planning, stakeholder engagement, and delivery preparation while treating all project information with appropriate discretion. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who is motivated by social entrepreneurship, inclusive employment, and creating meaningful outcomes with and for persons with disabilities (PWDs). The intern will receive close mentorship and direct supervision from the Founder, with exposure to the practical work of building partnerships, designing inclusive initiatives, and translating ideas into well-executed programmes. Depending on project needs and milestones, the intern may also have the opportunity to support regional expansion activities, including occasional overseas travel. Responsibilities The intern will support the Founder across a mixture of strategic, operational, and stakeholder-facing work. Responsibilities will be adjusted according to the project’s development needs and the intern’s strengths. Research and insight development Conduct desk research on disability inclusion, employment practices, service gaps, relevant policies, and effective social-impact models. Distil findings into concise briefs, presentation materials, stakeholder profiles, and actionable recommendations. Project planning and coordination Support work-plan development, meeting preparation, action tracking, timelines, risk logs, budgets or simple operational trackers, and follow-up on agreed next steps. Help ensure that project details are organised and deadlines are met. Stakeholder engagement Assist with respectful coordination and communications involving government agencies, employers, parents and caregivers, partner non-profit organisations, service providers, and persons with disabilities. Prepare outreach materials, schedules, agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up correspondence. Inclusive engagement support Help prepare accessible, participant-centred materials and contribute to engagement approaches that value the perspectives and lived experiences of persons with disabilities, families, and community partners. Partnership and employer support Research prospective partners and employers; maintain contact and engagement records; prepare briefs for meetings; and support the development of partnership propositions, where appropriate. Events, field activities, and regional expansion Provide logistical support for workshops, stakeholder discussions, site visits, pilot activities, or community engagements, as required. This may include coordinating registrations, materials, venue needs, and post-event follow-up. The intern may also support regional-expansion research, partner engagement, or overseas meetings and visits when appropriate. Qualifications We welcome applications from university students who are curious, empathetic, and comfortable working in an evolving environment. Candidates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply; relevant fields may include social sciences, business, public policy, psychology, communications, education, design, social work, and related disciplines. Interest and values A genuine interest in social impact, social entrepreneurship, disability inclusion, inclusive employment, or community development. Prior volunteer, work, research, or lived-experience exposure is welcome but not required. Communication Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate respectfully and clearly with stakeholders from varied backgrounds. Organisation Sound planning, follow-through, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks, document actions accurately, and meet agreed deadlines. Stakeholder coordination Confidence and professionalism in coordinating across government, employers, non-profit organisations, parents and caregivers, and persons with disabilities. Research and synthesis Ability to find reliable information, identify key insights, and convert research into concise, useful outputs. Working style Proactive, adaptable, discreet, and willing to learn in a fast-moving pre-launch environment. Comfortable taking ownership while seeking guidance when needed. Digital capability Proficiency with standard productivity tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office. Familiarity with presentation design, spreadsheet tracking, or project-management tools is an advantage.
