As a F&B Trainee, you’ll welcome our guests, recommend food and drink and help keep service on-track and up to standard. By tailoring each guest’s experience to their unique tastes, you’ll create memories as delightful as the dishes CORE WORK ACTIVITIES: Deliver warm, personalised service in accordance with luxury hotel service standards. Assist guests with food and beverage enquiries, recommendations and feedback. Support restaurant reservations, seating arrangements and guest waiting lists. Serve food and beverages accurately and assist with table set-up, clearing and resetting. Operate POS systems and relevant technology to support daily operations. Assist with opening, operating and closing duties, including service station replenishment. Follow Workplace Safety & Health, food hygiene, responsible alcohol service and food waste management procedures. Support guest loyalty initiatives and build positive rapport with guests. Carry out assigned duties according to the daily roster and work effectively with the F&B team. Participate in continuous improvement activities and suggest ways to improve service and productivity. Identify personal learning and development opportunities to improve performance. Follow hotel emergency, crisis response and business continuity procedures.
