Game Operations Intern

Responsibilities Player Experience & Insights : Utilize methods such as community observation, surveys, in-depth interviews, and player sentiment analysis (evaluating forum and community data) to deeply understand the preferences and needs of players in target regions. Analyze player behavior and motivations within their local cultural context. Regularly deliver insightful reports to provide actionable, data-driven recommendations for the project team regarding product optimization, localization strategies, and operational decisions Community & User Management : Manage day-to-day operations and foster engagement across global gaming communities (e.g., Discord). Actively interact with players, aggregate user feedback, and analyze community discussions to proactively flag shifts in player sentiment or potential PR risks. Build strong player relationships to drive community growth, retention, and a strong sense of belonging Regional Operations Support : Collaborate on Beta testing initiatives for specific language regions. Responsibilities include managing tester access, facilitating player communications, and identifying potential localization or cultural sensitivities. Provide actionable recommendations for cultural adaptation from a localized user perspective Requirements Education: Current university student or recent graduate, pursuing (or holding) a Bachelor’s degree or higher. Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in either English or Mandarin. Basic communication skills in Mandarin are preferred (to collaborate with Chinese-speaking development teams/stakeholders). Proficiency in Japanese or Korean is a plus. Market Knowledg e: Actively follows the Japanese or Korean cultural markets. A strong understanding of local gaming community dynamics and ecosystems is preferred. Industry Insig ht: Deeply passionate about the gaming industry, with a solid understanding of player behavior and current market trends. Cultural Affinit y: Passionate about gaming; familiarity with ACG (Anime, Comics, and Games) culture is a plus.
