Global Markets Division for Asia – Global Client Sales Department (AGMD-GCSD) Global Client Sales Intern Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027 Job Description The Global Markets Internship Programme offers hands-on exposure to MUFG's Markets franchise, providing interns with a broad understanding of how the bank delivers risk management, trading, and advisory solutions to corporate and institutional clients. Interns Will Undertake Structured Rotations Across The Following Teams Risk Solutions Sales (Corporate Clients) Risk Solutions Sales (Private Equity & Sponsors) Trading eFX Sales Business Management During each rotation, interns will work closely with experienced professionals, gain insight into client engagement and market dynamics, and contribute to live business initiatives. Key Responsibilities Conduct market, industry, and client research to support business development activities. Analyse client and business data to identify trends and growth opportunities. Develop presentations, reports, and strategic business recommendations. Support reporting automation, data analytics, and process improvement initiatives. Monitor macroeconomic and market developments impacting FX and interest rate markets. Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, trading, and business management functions. Learning Opportunities Gain exposure to multiple areas of a leading Global Markets business. Develop practical knowledge of FX, interest rates, risk management, and electronic trading solutions. Work alongside senior professionals and build a strong understanding of financial markets. Strengthen analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills through real business projects. Develop a professional network across MUFG's regional and global franchise. Job Requirements Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Strong interest in financial markets and global economic developments. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication and presentation skills. Proactive, organised, and eager to learn. Working hours – 8:30am – 6:00pm Why Join MUFG?
