Global Sustainability and ESG Intern
Duration:
3 to 6 months
Responsibilities
The selected intern(s) will be given broad exposure to PIL’s sustainability performance endeavours via the Global Sustainability and ESG division. Specific responsibilities and tasks include:
Sustainability Report 2025 (data collection and editorial work)
GHG inventory 2025 (data collection and management)
Research and benchmarking of industry ESG-linked practices and initiatives
Research on industry sustainability developments and preparation of monthly upper management reporting (alternative fuels, decarbonisation)
Support administration of PIL Eco-rise climate learning (rollout of new phases)
Facilitation of ESG outreach events (lead / co-lead organisation of events)
Support administration of ongoing ESG initiatives (e.g., GCAM scorecard)
Drafting communications for internal and external sustainability initiatives
Other general support matters (as and when required)

Who We’re Looking For
Environmental science / management, business studies, social sciences, maritime studies or any other discipline with exposure to sustainability.
3rd year undergraduate or beyond
Curious and self-motivated with a strong interest in sustainability
Analytical mindset with good attention to detail
Competent in research, writing and use of visual communication tools
Comfortable with engaging stakeholders and active collaboration
Basic proficiency in MS office productivity software.
Some proficiency in visual communication tools is an advantage.
