Role Overview The Graduate Intern will support the Compliance function across regulatory, operational, and governance activities. This role is designed for fresh graduates who are eager to build foundational knowledge in financial regulations, digital wealth operations, risk controls, and MAS compliance requirements. What You’ll Do – Compliance Team Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to core compliance functions from client onboarding and AML monitoring to MAS reporting, investment compliance, and product governance. This is a strong launchpad for a career in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles. Your scope may include: 1.    Client Onboarding & AML/CFT Support KYC reviews, identity verification, and due diligence checks Conduct sanctions/PEP screening and monitor transactions for unusual activity Assist in Source of Wealth/Funds documentation 2.    Regulatory Compliance Help prepare MAS filings and maintain compliance registers Track regulatory developments and assist with policy updates 3.    Investment Compliance & Ops Controls Monitor portfolios for mandate and product-level compliance Assist with reconciliations, trade errors, and NAV reviews Document governance controls for new products 4.    Policies & Internal Processes Maintain and update key compliance policies and SOPs Support audits, testing, and thematic reviews 5.    Incident & Governance Support Assist in reviewing and documenting compliance incidents Help manage the Complaints & Incident Register 6.    Cross-Team Collaboration Partner with Client, Operations, Investments, Product, Tech, and Marketing to embed compliance Review marketing materials for regulatory alignment About You Fresh graduate (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field). Strong interest in financial regulations, risk management, or digital finance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think critically and independently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Clear communicator, both written and verbal. Proactive, curious, and eager to learn; comfortable asking questions.
