Role Description The Graduate Research Intern role at Atlas Workspace is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The intern will assist in evaluating and improving the platform by conducting literature reviews, testing research workflows, and documenting user journeys. Day-to-day tasks may include analyzing academic papers, organizing references and annotations, contributing to product feedback, and preparing concise summaries or reports. The intern will collaborate with product and research teams to validate features, suggest enhancements, and support research-driven initiatives that improve the experience of scholarly users. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about research workflows, evidence-based decision-making, and tools that enhance scholarly productivity. Qualifications Ability to read, interpret, and critically analyze academic papers across disciplines. Strong research and synthesis skills, including experience with literature reviews and organizing research libraries. Clear written and verbal communication skills for summarizing findings and documenting processes. Comfort with digital tools for research management (e.g., reference managers, note-taking or knowledge organization tools). Current enrollment in or recent completion of a graduate program in a relevant field (e.g., information science, computer science, social sciences, or related disciplines). Detail-oriented mindset and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a small, product-focused team. Interest in research technology, human–computer interaction, or product development is highly beneficial. Prior experience conducting academic projects or working in a research lab is a plus.
