Job Summary
The Head of Front Office (Global Treasury) is responsible for executing the organization’s global treasury front office strategies. The position will work closely with the Treasurer and will lead all front office activities including foreign exchange risk management, liquidity and cash management, bank relationship management, trade and project financing, Treasury management system implementation and treasury advisory to business units. The role will involve close partnering with finance, tax, legal, business units and external financial institutions to ensure efficient capital deployment while maintaining strong governance and compliance.
What You Will Be Responsible For
FX Risk Management & Hedging
Develop and implement enterprise-wide FX risk management strategies
Execute FX hedging programs and monitor hedge effectiveness
Monitor and manage FX exposures across all business units
Liquidity Management
Develop and manage global liquidity management structures
Optimize cash position across multiple jurisdictions
Ensure adequate liquidity to support operational and strategic requirements
Maximize investment returns on surplus cash within approved investment guidelines
Bank Relationship Management
Serve as the primary relationship manager for global banking partners
Lead annual bank relationship reviews
Evaluate banking performance and optimize bank panel
Negotiate banking facilities, pricing and service agreements
Monitor and assess financial institutions counterparty credit risk
Support Back Office on bank’s KYC, AML and bank documentation processes
Trade & Project Financing
Lead all trade finance activities including the issuance of LC, SBLC, bank guarantees
Optimize working capital through structured trade finance solutions
Structure and negotiate financing for strategic capital projects
Lead financing discussions with banks and financial institutions
Coordinate due diligence activities with legal, tax and business units
Treasury Management System (TMS)
Lead the implementation and optimization of TMS
Oversee system integrations with ERP, banks and payment platform
Drive automation of treasury processes
Treasury Governance
Ensure compliance with Treasury Policy
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
Develop and maintain treasury procedures and standard operating manuals
Maintain treasury risk dashboards and management reporting
How You Will Stand Out
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent preferred
10+ years of treasury experience in multinational corporations or financial institutions
Strong experience across the key responsibilities outlined above, ideally within a global treasury environment
Hands-on experience in identifying, quantifying and executing foreign exchange (FX) hedging strategies across global operations
Proven experience leading or supporting Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation and optimization projects
Demonstrated ownership of strategic banking relationships, including negotiating facilities, managing performance and acting as the primary relationship manager
Strong numerical, analytical and financial modelling capabilities
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills
Preferred Background
Hands-on experience implementing regional or global liquidity and cash management structures (e.g. cash pooling, notional pooling, in-house banking or similar solutions)
Prior people management experience, with responsibility for leading or developing a small treasury team (at least 1–2 direct reports)
