Type:
Internship (flexible arrangement for university students — part-time or full-time)
Duration:
Flexible, ideally 3–6 months (open to extension)
About the Role
We're looking for an HR Consulting Intern to support our HR advisory work with client organisations — helping them audit their existing HR processes and build clear, standardised Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that their teams can actually follow. You'll work closely with our consulting team on live client projects, getting hands-on exposure to how HR operations are diagnosed, documented, and improved in real businesses.
This is a great fit if you're curious about how organisations actually run day-to-day, and want practical experience beyond textbook HR theory.
What You'll Do
Support the scoping and audit of client HR processes through staff interviews, document reviews, and process walkthroughs
Help identify which HR processes are fully documented, partially documented, or missing entirely
Assist in drafting and standardising SOPs — including supporting forms, checklists, templates, and approval flows
Maintain and update the HR Process Master List, tracking status and priority across processes
Help organise all working and final documents in a centralised, version-controlled, consistently named folder structure
Support weekly progress reviews by helping prepare summaries of completed work, open items, and decisions needed
Coordinate with client process owners to clarify responsibilities, approval steps, and escalation points
Assist with light research on HR compliance topics (e.g. CPF, MOM guidelines, Employment Act) as needed for SOP accuracy
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing a diploma or university degree — Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
Strong written communication skills, with an ability to turn operational detail into clear, simple, step-by-step documentation
Detail-oriented and organised, comfortable juggling multiple documents and moving parts
Comfortable asking questions and gathering information directly from stakeholders
Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel or Google Workspace
Genuine interest in HR operations, process design, or consulting — no prior work experience required, training will be provided
Good to have (not required):
Prior coursework, projects, or internship exposure related to organisational design or HR operations
Familiarity with documentation tools such as Notion
What You'll Gain
Direct, hands-on exposure to real client SOP and HR audit projects — not simulated case studies
Mentorship from practitioners working in HR consulting and payroll/HR outsourcing
A practical understanding of how HR operations vary across different companies and industries
A portfolio of completed process documentation you can point to in future applications
