The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers hands-on experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, data management and process improvement initiatives. It is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to develop practical HR skills in a dynamic and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Support
Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding activities for new employees.
Help manage candidate documentation and maintain accurate records in the HR system.
Support recruitment-related communications and logistics.
Data Entry & System Management
Accurately enter employee data (new joiners, leavers, changes) into the HR management system (GEMS).
Maintain and update employee records to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Help troubleshoot HR systems and support updates or new software implementations.
Reporting & Analytics
Generate monthly HR reports, including metrics on new joiners, leavers, and other HR indicators.
Compile and analyze data for HR initiatives and present findings to the team.
Assist in preparing and submission of statutory surveys.
Administrative Tasks
Support invoice processing, document filing, and organization of HR materials.
Assist with general HR documentation and communications.
Employee Communication
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Help prepare communication materials for employee engagement initiatives.
Special Projects
Participate in HR projects such as reviewing and simplifying HR forms and notifications.
Auditing and updating documents in employee P-files.
Supporting other administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience: Previous internship or experience in an administrative role is a plus but not required.
