About this internship
The HR Intern, Talent will support the Human Resources team across Talent Sourcing, Recruitment Tracking, and HR Intranet Content Management, while gaining broader exposure to Talent Management and Performance Management activities.
This role provides an opportunity to develop practical experience across key areas of the employee lifecycle. The intern will work closely with HR stakeholders to support recruitment activities, maintain accurate HR records and resources, and contribute to the effective communication and delivery of HR initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing
Support the HR team in sourcing and identifying potential candidates through various recruitment channels and platforms.
Conduct initial research and screening of candidate profiles against defined job requirements.
Assist with the coordination and scheduling of interviews and other recruitment -related activities and coordination as required
Recruitment Tracking
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment trackers, candidate records, and recruitment status reports.
Monitor recruitment progress and follow up on outstanding actions with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure recruitment information is organised and maintained in accordance with HR processes.
HR Intranet Content Management
Support the maintenance and updating of HR content on the company intranet.
Review existing HR content to ensure information is current, accurate, relevant, and easy to navigate.
Assist in creating and formatting HR communications, resources, guides, and announcements.
Work with HR stakeholders to gather and consolidate information for publication.
Contribute ideas to improve the accessibility and user experience of HR intranet content.
Talent & Performance Management Exposure
Gain exposure to Talent Management discussions and processes, including talent reviews, succession planning, and employee development.
Support the HR team in preparing materials, data, and documentation for talent discussions.
Gain an understanding of the Performance Management cycle and related HR processes
Requirements:
Prior internship, part-time, project, or volunteer experience in Human Resources, recruitment, administration, communications, or a related area is advantageous but not essential.
Experience using recruitment platforms, applicant tracking systems, HR systems, or content management tools is an advantage.
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides, would be beneficial.
Experience in content creation, writing, editing, or managing digital content is a plus.
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related discipline.
Strong interest in Human Resources, Talent Management, and organisational development.
Available for the full-time/part-time internship for 6 months.
