[IMDA Internship Programme 2027] Data Engineering Intern (January - June)

We are looking for interns to join the Digital Industry & Talent Group (DITG) for our January to June 2027 internship cycle . Scope of Work Support the creation of SGDL and maintenance of SGDS databases within the GCC environment. Develop and maintain data pipelines and mappings between different tables within GCC. Ensure data synchronisation across Salesforce, GCC and business dashboards. Perform data validation, reconciliation and quality assurance on integrated datasets. Maintain technical documentation for data sources, data flows and integration processes. Support enhancements to improve data reliability and operational efficiency. Learning Outcomes Gain practical experience working with enterprise data platforms and cloud-based data environments. Understand data integration, ETL concepts and data synchronisation. Exposure to designing and maintaining data sources for business intelligence reporting. Experience documenting technical data architecture and operational processes. Gain a better appreciation of enterprise data governance and platform operations. Skills Required Pursuing studies in computer, data, software or information systems related course. Applied knowledge of cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS s3, lambda, sns). Programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL, terraform). Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
