[IMDA Internship Programme 2027] Development of a telecommunications industry plan (January - June)

We are looking for interns to join the Digital Industry & Talent Group (DITG) for our January to June 2027 internship cycle . Scope of Work Support the development of an industry plan for Singapore's telecommunications sector. Understand Singapore's industry structure and key players including the telecommunication providers, infrastructure / equipment vendors and related ecosystem partners. Research on emerging technological trends (5G/6G, Non-terrestrial Networks, Edge Computing, etc) and its impact on the sector. Learning Outcomes Understanding of the future communications industry and emerging tech trends. Gain exposure to how technical trends translate into business and policy decisions. Develop applied industry analysis and strategic thinking skills. Acquire research synthesis, report writing and presentation skills. Skills Required Basic understanding of technical concepts in communications networks (or willingness to learn quickly). Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills. Prior coursework or projects in strategy, economics, or computing or engineering is a plus.
