India AI Content & Localization Intern Location: Singapore | On-site Employment Type: Internship Duration: Minimum 4 months Working Commitment: Minimum 4 days per week Compensation: SGD 1,000/month Team: AI Live Commerce / AI Content About the Role We are looking for an Indian intern based in Singapore to support our AI content and livestreaming projects for the India market. You will focus on language and cultural quality control, AI content production, and India market localization , while also helping us build and coordinate our local India team. This role is ideal for someone who understands Indian e-commerce and digital culture , is comfortable using AI tools , and is interested in growing into a local team lead role(Remote) . Key Responsibilities1. India Localization & Quality Control Review AI-generated scripts, voiceovers, videos, and livestreaming content for the India market. Conduct language and cultural quality checks across English, Hindi, Hinglish, and other relevant local expressions where applicable. Ensure content sounds natural and locally relevant rather than directly translated. Identify inappropriate wording, cultural mismatches, pronunciation issues, unnatural AI expressions, and potential market sensitivities. Improve scripts based on Indian consumer behavior and e-commerce communication styles. 2. AI Content Production Participate in the production of AI livestreaming and AI short-video content . Use AI tools to support scriptwriting, localization, content generation, research, and quality assurance. Work with our content and project teams to improve prompts, workflows, and AI-generated outputs. Test different AI tools and production methods to improve content quality and efficiency. 3. India E-commerce & Content Insights Research Indian e-commerce platforms, livestreaming, short-video trends, creators, brands, and consumer behavior. Provide local insights on platforms and ecosystems such as Flipkart, Amazon India, YouTube, Instagram and other relevant commerce/content channels . Help the team understand Indian promotional language, shopping festivals, pricing communication, product positioning, and local content preferences. Translate market observations into actionable recommendations for client projects. 4. India Local Team Building & Coordination Support the recruitment and onboarding of India-based freelance or part-time content/localization team members. Help establish language QA standards, SOPs, training materials, and review processes. Coordinate tasks and conduct first-round quality checks for local team members. Gradually take ownership of day-to-day local content coordination as the India team expands. Requirements Indian national / native-level understanding of Indian language and culture, currently based in Singapore. Able to work on-site in our Singapore office at least 4 days per week . Able to commit for at least 4 months . Strong command of English and Hindi/Hinglish ; additional Indian languages are a plus. Good understanding of Indian e-commerce, social media, digital content, or consumer trends. Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and other generative AI/content creation tools. Strong cultural sensitivity and ability to identify whether content feels genuinely “local”. Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment. Good communication and coordination skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with e-commerce, livestreaming, social media, content creation, advertising, or localization. Familiarity with Flipkart, Amazon India, Meesho, Instagram, YouTube, or Indian D2C brands. Experience using AI video, AI voice, image generation, or other generative AI tools. Experience managing student organizations, project teams, freelancers, or content contributors. Interest in AI, e-commerce, international business, or building new teams from scratch.
