INTERN (ARTISTIC TEAM)

Voices of Singapore (VOS) is looking for motivated and creative individuals to join our Artistic Team as an intern. In this role, you will work closely with the team to support the administrative and logistical planning for all choirs under the Voices of Singapore Choral Society. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in event planning, rehearsal coordination, and artist liaison work. Responsibilities: Concerts & Events Assist with concert preparation, including sorting scores and planning rehearsal schedules. Manage space bookings and coordinate rehearsal logistics. Support the planning and execution of VOS concerts, recitals, festivals, and other musical events by compiling and organizing information, preparing master documents (e.g., Excel schedules, programme flow), and drafting event write-ups. Liaise with external choirs, artists, conductors, accompanists, and musicians to communicate event details and coordinate rehearsal timelines. Collaborate with the artistic team to brainstorm and develop event ideas. Programmes Provide administrative support for both state choirs and community impact programmes under the Voices of Singapore Choral Society. Maintain and manage the choir’s music library, including score inventory and archival. Assist in some rehearsals by supporting the conductors during class Take meeting minutes and help ensure follow-ups are tracked and completed Requirements: Able to commit to a minimum 3-month full-time internship. Interns who can commit up to 6 months and above are preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, Google form and sheets.
