Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Process Improvement Intern to analyze existing food production and catering workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Assist in time-and-motion studies to compare current cycle times vs. takt time and propose headcount optimization.
Support the deployment of automation solutions such as conveyor systems, labeling machines, or packing aids.
Evaluate digital tools (IoT sensors, data dashboards, barcode scanning, etc.) to improve traceability and quality control.
Collaborate with culinary, logistics, and QA teams to test and implement pilot projects.
Document process changes, SOP updates, and assist in developing training materials.
Propose market trends and emerging technologies in food automation, robotics, and smart catering.
Develop proof-of-concept / minimal-viable-product digital solutions
Key Requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Familiarity with process mapping, basic programming, or automation tools is a plus.
Passion for innovation, operations efficiency, and food production environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Detail-oriented and data-driven, with a structured approach to testing, validating, and documenting solutions.
