Position Overview: GFTN is seeking a proactive and organised undergraduate to join the Capacity Building team full-time from September to December 2026. The intern will support two initiatives: the Pay It Forward mentorship initiative, which connects industry mentors with students and early-career professionals, and the Decoding Digital Assets live session series, a set of five to six fortnightly live sessions delivered as part of the digital assets certificate programme developed in partnership with Ripple for regulators, policymakers and finance professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in learning and talent development, community engagement, and financial innovation to gain hands-on experience across both programme delivery and large-scale event operations. Key Responsibilities: Pay It Forward mentorship initiative Support mentor outreach and relationship management, including recruitment, onboarding and ongoing communications. Support marketing of the initiative, including drafting creative briefs, preparing social media posts, and conducting outreach to student and professional channels. Maintain the mentor and mentee database and support the mentorship mini-app within the event app, including matching and participant queries. Provide on-site support during the Singapore FinTech Festival week, including hosting the Pay It Forward lounge. Decoding Digital Assets live sessions Coordinate scheduling, logistics and run-of-show for the fortnightly live sessions. Liaise with speakers and contributing partners on session briefs, confirmations and technical rehearsals. Manage participant registration, reminders, attendance tracking and post-session communications. Provide live production support during sessions, including moderating the chat and managing Q&A. Compile post-session feedback, attendance and engagement reports, and support the packaging of session recordings and materials. General programme support Prepare documents, reports, presentation decks and routine correspondence. Maintain programme trackers and supporting records. Qualifications and Eligibility: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a recognised university, in any course of study. Available full-time, 5 days per week, from September to November 2026. Available across 14-20 November 2026 for the Singapore FinTech Festival, including the weekend of 14 and 15 November. Interest in financial services, fintech, digital assets, or learning and talent development. Skills and Attributes Effective communicator, comfortable conversing with industry professionals and senior stakeholders. Strong writing skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Good-to-haves Experience organising or participating in mentorship, talent development or student community programmes. Experience supporting webinars, live-streamed sessions or large-scale conferences. Familiarity with virtual event platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools. Interest in or basic understanding of digital assets, stablecoins and digital money.
