About The Role
The
DCP APAC Consumer Insights Intern
would provide support in custom research initiatives for DCP APAC, encompassing
qualitative/quantitative projects
to investigate
consumer behavior
across markets. Focused largely on custom research, this role will gain exposure in the planning and execution of
research projects
, and coming up with actionable insights to support business decision making process in Disney.
Responsibilities
Assist in providing information for research presentations, sales pitches and external communications
Building and managing past and existing excel databases, setting up clear processes to manage the sheer volume of data and ensuring efficient data management process
Undertake data analysis where necessary to prepare timely and insightful topline results and report preparation
Vendor liaison responsibilities to ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgets
Manage incoming ad-hoc research inquiries/requests
Internship Requirements
Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2027
Must be available to work on-site throughout the full period of internship

Requirements
Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, or Economics, or Statistics, or Mathematics, or Marketing
Highly self-motivated, meticulous, and very comfortable with numbers
Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
Passionate team player with a never-ending curiosity
Self-starter that needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to insights projects.
Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
Strategic thinker with good communications skills
Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop strategy/decisions
Proficient in MS Office particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus
Excellent command of written and spoken English
