Intern - Data Analyst (Operation)

Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our OSS operations through automation reports and improvement via AI driven process improvement Assisting various functions, including Finance, Engineering, and Production, in automating processes and creating Power BI reports. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree major in Data science/ Business Analyst preferred or any relevant courses in data analytics Skills Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proficiency in data management tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Assist in the automation of manual processes across Finance, Engineering, and Production functions. Create and maintain Power BI reports to provide actionable insights and support decision-making. Identify opportunities for process improvement through the application of AI and machine learning techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and requirements. Develop and implement data-driven solutions to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency. Conduct data analysis and interpret results to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization. Document and communicate data-related findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security throughout the analysis process. Support the implementation and adoption of new data-driven initiatives within the organization. Stay updated with the latest advancements in data analytics, AI, and machine learning technologies. Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visualization. Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and their potential applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a logical and systematic approach to data analysis. Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Familiarity with data modeling, database management, and SQL is an advantage. Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis is desirable.
