About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated intern to support our
Government Relations & Marketing
team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role spans both event operations and content/social media management, offering hands-on ownership and direct exposure to major industry and community events, clients, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Events management
Support end-to-end planning and on-site execution of corporate events, e.g. Technology Week Singapore, Singapore Fintech Festival, and client engagements
Coordinate event administration and logistics – liaison with event organisers, procurement, invitations and registration, on-day execution
Track event budgets, raise purchase orders, and keep run-of-show documents and checklists current
Content/social media management
Track engagement metrics and lead generation from marketing outreach
Produce pre-, on-day-, and post-event content – website, social posts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), EDMs, and other collateral
Capture and curate event photos and videos, and coordinate with photographers and vendors
Maintain the event calendar and coordinate with internal departments as part of internal communications
Others
Support department projects, e.g. website revamp
Corporate social responsibility projects
Required Experience & Qualifications
Undergraduate or recent graduate in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to support China-facing audiences and partners.
Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple events at once.
Good writing skills and a feel for social media; basic Canva or similar design ability.
Proactive, reliable, and calm under on-site pressure; willing to work some evenings and weekends around event dates.
A plus: photo/video capture and editing, prior events or marketing experience, or interest in government relations, marketing and the tech industry.
