DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES The intern will work for Marriott’s Compensation & Benefits team. Key responsibilities include: Assist in maintaining C&B-related policies and guidelines database Assist in the execution and implementation of key priority projects Prepare reports and/or presentation decks for management’s review Provides support in annual C&B exercises including salary survey participation/analysis and annual compensation cycle Handles any administrative tasks, ad-hoc duties and projects as requested. LEARNING OBJECTIVES Understand the hospitality industry and key C&B functions Display professionalism in both verbal and written communication with all stakeholders Problem-solving and project management skills to drive business outcomes Build technical skills & competency in C&B Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities We are looking for a university student who is passionate, committed, and keen to establish a career in the Development discipline with the following attributes: Ability to learn quickly and excel in a fast-paced environment. Detailed-oriented, structured, and organized Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent command of spoken and written English Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint) Excellent Analytical and Numeracy Skills QUALIFICATION STANDARD Education: Undergraduate in Human Resources, Business Management, Economics preferred Requirements: Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident Holder or valid student pass/work holiday pass Eligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program/undergraduate or graduate of a university in Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom or the United States.
